Glamping Frequently Asked Questions

Making a Booking & Policies

How do I make a booking?
We accept direct bookings through our secure, official platform, booking.com, Hipcamp and Pitchup. The link is here. A two-night stay is generally priced around £440, which is required upfront via bank transfer to confirm the booking. We require a 2-Night Minimum Stay to allow guests time to fully relax and enjoy the amenities.

Returning Guests: Do you offer special discounts?
Yes! We offer special offers like a 20% discount on direct bookings for returning guests staying a minimum of two nights. Please mention this when booking!

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is flexible and follows the options available on Booking-directly.com. We recommend checking the specific terms for your chosen dates.

Is your site suitable for children?
While we love families, our site is specifically designed as a peaceful, luxurious adult retreat. Therefore, we maintain a minimum age of 18 for all guests to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.

Are pets allowed?
Due to the presence of livestock on neighbouring farms and wild deer in the orchard, we must maintain a strict No Pets policy. The only exception is registered assistance dogs.

Getting Here & Arrival

How do I find the property, as I heard it might be difficult to pinpoint?
We understand our exact location can be tricky on maps. The day of (or day before) your arrival, we will share a precise live location link to help guide you directly to the property, even if you are stopping near Evesham. We are also available for a quick call if needed!

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM. We offer highly flexible check-out times, encouraging you to relax and enjoy your stay without rushing. While our standard check-out is 11:00 AM, guests are often allowed to check out later (e.g., up to 3:00 PM). Please communicate your intended departure time with us.

Is there a dedicated EV charger available for guests?
We currently do not have an electric vehicle (EV) charger available on site. We do offer complimentary parking on-site.

Do you offer transportation to the local train station?
Yes, if we are available, we are happy to offer a complimentary lift to the local train station (or similar short journey) on your departure morning. Please check with us during your stay, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

On-Site Amenities & Hospitality

What amenities are included in my stay?
We’ve ensured you have everything you need! Each luxurious bell tent boasts its own private en-suite shower and toilet, a small fridge/freezer box, a two-ring gas camping stove, and a full set of bed linen and crockery. You’ll also find a fire pit, Gold Bath, complimentary toiletries, and a welcome basket with local treats. Guests consistently report that the beds are exceptionally comfortable and provide a great night’s sleep!

How do I operate the indoor electric fireplace?
The electric fire is manual, and the off button is typically located in a discreet spot, such as by the top of the door when you open it.

What complimentary items are provided in the bell tent?
We ensure you have a truly luxurious start! Your Clubhouse Larder is stocked with complimentary Prosecco, beer, and bottled water. We typically provide a welcome drink, often tailored to your needs, to help you relax immediately! You will also find your welcome pack goodies, including local jam, inside.

Can we organize a BBQ pack for our stay?
Yes, absolutely! We can arrange a fresh BBQ pack from a high-quality local butcher in the next village. Please message us with your order details, and we will collect it for you. A common pack (2 burgers, 4 sausages, 2 drumsticks, and 2 pork steaks) costs approximately £15. We will provide bank details for the payment in advance.

What do we need to do with the BBQ and Firepit ash before check-out?
You do not need to worry about this! We are happy to take care of the final clean-up of the BBQ and firepit. Simply leave them in place, and the team will deal with the ash after your departure.

Activities & Local Area

Is the tree/plant planting included in my stay?
Yes! Each booking includes the opportunity to plant your own fruit tree on the property and name it (e.g., Angela-Joy or a cherry tree 🍒) during your stay, making a lovely lasting memory. We will arrange a time with you on the morning of your departure to plant your sponsored tree or rose in the orchard. Some guests plan to return next time to plant theirs—we’ll make sure it’s waiting for you 🌳.

Do you provide local recommendations for activities?
Yes, we actively provide recommendations for local attractions and dining! For the Tewkesbury area, we suggest Tewkesbury Abbey, afternoon tea at Tewkesbury Park Hotel, river walks, and exploring the amazing local alleyways and secret gardens. For the wider Worcestershire area, guests frequently enjoy local walks and hikes, with Bredon Hill being a popular destination.

Do you provide a local guide for the area?
Yes, we have compiled a comprehensive digital Orchard Blossom Welcome Book which includes details on local attractions, dining, and shops.

Do you provide information about events happening during our stay?
Absolutely! Shortly before your arrival, we will send you a curated list of “What’s On Nearby” for the upcoming weekend, including local festivals, flower fields, and markets. We want to ensure you don’t miss any of the fun!

Customer Service & Troubleshooting

Why did you ask about my “favourite tipple” or special occasions before my stay?
We believe in making every guest feel special! We love helping you celebrate and can arrange special touches like rose petals or other personalized details to make the occasion memorable (e.g., for a 60th birthday). We like to reach out personally to ask about your favourite tipple and snacks so we can ensure you have a lovely, personalized welcome hamper waiting for you (drinks are on us!). If you’re celebrating, let us know in advance!

Who can I contact during my stay?
Our check-in service is highly responsive, and we encourage guests to contact us if you need anything, no matter how small the query is! You can reach us by calling us on +44 (0)7977 483798 or you can email us at [email protected].

I’ve lost power to the tent. Where is the trip switch?
If you experience a power outage (often caused by drawing too much power), the trip switch is located behind the Clubhouse Larder, under the counter. Simply flip the switch back up to restore power. If the issue persists, call us immediately!

The hot water is slow or not heating up. What should I do?
The bath water should be fully warm within 30-45 minutes. Pro-Tip: Andy recommends putting the shower on at the same time to help boost the water temperature! Please do not use kettles to heat the bath water, as this can trip the electric circuit.

Are there plans for more glamping areas?
We’re expanding! Our next area will feature a beautiful “Greek Bath” concept—something guests often ask about after spotting progress on site. We’re aiming to open this new area soon and can’t wait to share it with returning guests.

How can I leave a review?
If you’ve stayed with us and would like to share your experience, we’d love to hear from you. You can leave a Google review here.

How can I get an update on my planted tree?
We love providing updates! Guests can view updates on trees they’ve planted in the orchard (e.g., the Lunic tree planted by Nicky & Lucy) by contacting us directly.
